Application Steps:

General Information- FlexVent should overlap 2 inches. Roof tile must be clean and dry. Air temperature should be at least 40˚F.
STEP 1
Center FlexVent on top of roof nailing board. Staple or nail FlexVent every 12 inches down hip or ridge nailing board.
STEP 2
Form FlexVent to tile roof surface. Take care that ventilation area does not press too tight to surface nailing board preventing proper airflow. Install FlexVent from top of his to eave.
STEP 3
Remove protective strip from adhesive tape.
STEP 4
Press FlexVent into the pans of each tile. FlexVent can elongate 30% from the barrell to pan. Take care that the edge of the FlexVent is throughly pressed to the tile for optimal adhesion.
STEP 5
Cut off excess amount of flexVent at the end of the hip or ridge with knife or sheetmetal shears. The excess materical can be used on your next project.
PRECAUTION: The perforations and edges of FlexVent are extremely sharp. Please wear gloves to eliminate the possibility of cuts and scrapes.
